If someone asked whether I notice paper waste at school, I probably wouldn’t pay much attention to it because our major doesn’t require much printing. However, in terms of web design, I prefer simple websites since they make the functions and information easier to understand. For the visual style, I think it should match the “waste paper” theme.
I find that Riso printing workshops create a lot of scrap paper, and because of the unique nature of Riso printing, I think the waste paper actually looks really beautiful. I especially like the rich and layered colours that appear through the printing process.
I believe a website’s homepage must be eye-catching and allow visitors to understand what the site is about at a glance, yet many websites fail to achieve this.
Furthermore, the design of the website’s buttons is also crucial, as it directly impacts the user experience. Details such as animation effects, mouse interactions and page transitions also require special attention, as they make the entire website appear more polished and engaging.
